A UK queen is not a US queen

Which? lists a UK queen-size mattress as a small double: 120 × 190 cm. The same guide lists a UK king at 150 × 200 cm and a UK double at 135 × 190 cm. Those are the names to use in the United Kingdom.

Two seller charts, from KAS Australia and from Ecosa, list a US queen at about 152 × 203 cm and an Australian queen at about 153 × 203 cm. Those charts are commercial. They are not a statute. If the product page prints different centimetres, use the product page.

The useful check is the same in all three countries: ask for width and length in centimetres. The English word is not the bed.
